The Over-the-bar-micrometer includes a variety of extension rods, and an adjustable micrometer head body, in a fitted storage box. Much more reliable than calipers, this calibrated measuring tool also has hardened tips for increased durability and consistent accuracy.

B&D's Over-the-bar-micrometer eliminates the boring bar from the measuring equation. Our model measures the ID of the bore - wall to wall which is a direct measurement which in turn improves accuracy.
